RHUL Men’s 1st continued their fight for the top of the South Eastern Conference Cup with a comprehensive win over University of Hertfordshire this Wednesday.
Adam Robin rested foot and leg injuries and this allowed Elliot Rawstron to come up from the 2nds to play. Unfortunately Hertfordshire did not field a 5th player so he was awarded a walk-over, winning 3-0.
The other players, Jamie Pearce, Hugh Gibson, Arran Waterman and Tim Scarfe, lived up to what was expected of them and despite a few close games they all secured 3-0 victories, with Arran posting a 33-14 score stat. Very impressive! Bring on the cup quarter finals next week, this team is looking stronger every match.
