A recent YouGov survey of Britain’s students shows that one in four students suffer from mental health problems. Anxiety, stress, and depression are a few of the issues causing a growing number of students to drop out of university. Research finds that the student suicide numbers nearly doubled in the past decade. As troubling as those numbers may be, according to Help Me Investigate, the demand for student counselling services on campuses has risen by 33%.  The decision to seek help can be a difficult one to begin with and something most students struggle with. The end of summer always brings a multitude of new releases in gaming and gadgetry, and this year is no exception. Electronic Arts have released the latest installment of their famous football franchise, FIFA 18, and Apple is also in full flow, with both the iPhone 8 (released 22nd September 2017) and the iPhone X (to be released in November 2017) surging into the mobile phone market. However, one thing is becoming clearer every year; these products seem to become less and less varied with each new release. Comedy Virgins – Review

The performance featured a variety of acts, with comedians new to performing stand up gigs and veteran performers with experience from previous performances. The evening was expertly hosted by Philipp Carl Kostelecky, whose charisma and stand up comedy captivated the audience from the moment he stepped onto the stage. His material, focusing on topics such as pornography and relationships, was expertly delivered, and his interaction with members of the audience made the evening one filled with (occasionally embarrassed) laughter. Two performers stood out as true comedic talents – one being an experienced comic, and the other being totally new to stand up performances.
