Community Guidelines

Orbital aims to create a platform for debate and discussion around all of the articles that we publish. We want to give people the opportunity to have meaningful debate, however, we will not tolerate attacks on any of our journalists, editorial board or community members.

We will not tolerate any form of racism, sexism, homophobia or any other form of hate-speech on any of our content and will remove any content that we deem to be offensive without warning.

Orbital Magazine is an autonomous, non-partisan publication and will not tolerate anyone hijacking opportunities of discussion for commercial advertising or spam.

Whilst debate should be open and free, all comments and discussion should be relevant to the subject matter.

Any comments that are deemed to be defamatory will be removed immediately. All Orbital board members have received specific media law training and their decision shall be final.

We reserve the right to remove any content that we believe violates this Code of Conduct. The safety and wellbeing of our community, journalists and audience are of paramount importance to Orbital Magazine. All of our contributors and editors are volunteers and should not be treated as though they are salaried staff. Our right to remove any content that we deem to violate this Code of Conduct does not affect your Freedom of Expression. If you have any questions, concerns or complaints then please email [email protected]
